Arden Grange Senior Dog Food is specifically designed to meet the nutritional needs of the older dog. It provides a complete well-balanced diet for the veteran dog with a less active lifestyle, boosted with glucosamine and chondroitin and MSM to protect
vulnerable joints. It's lower in fat than regular adult dog food, so providing a less energy dense diet to help prevent obesity.
Arden Grange is a family run business based in the UK that have been making quality pet food since 1996. It’s fair to say, their products are towards the high end of the vast range of brands that are now available in supermarkets and online, but the quality of this product and possible health benefits make it superb value for money.
Arden Grange suggest, as a general guide, feeding this Senior food to small dog breeds over 10 years of age, and from 8 years upwards for medium to large breeds, although this recipe can safely be fed to younger dogs if required. Arden Grange Senior Dog Food is ideal for the less-active dog being low in fat, yet providing complete and balanced nutrition for the older dog. The kibble is small and flat, making it easier for dogs to chew, and can be soaked to help dogs with dental problems.
As expected, Arden Grange Senior Dog Food contains quality ingredients and perfectly suited for the needs of the older dog. Fresh chicken provides a healthy source of low fat protein. Rice provides energy, and is easy to digest. There's L-carnitine
which may help to maintain lean body mass by increasing the conversion of fat to energy. There's also added levels of glucosamine, chondroitin and MSM for extra protection against age related joint conditions.
Chicken (chicken meat meal 22% and fresh chicken 5%), rice 22%, maize, beet pulp, refined chicken oil, whole linseed, chicken digest, whole dried egg, yeast, krill, minerals, prebiotic FOS, prebiotic MOS, glucosamine (740mg/kg), MSM 740mg/kg), chondroitin (520mg/kg), cranberries, yucca extract, nucleotides.

This is a general guide only as all dogs have different metabolic rates and activity levels. Remember to reduce portion sizes accordingly if offering your dog treats and other foods during the day. We recommend feeding twice a day, this reduces the risk of the potentially life threatening condition bloat, which can affect large dog breeds. Supervise your dog at meal times and always ensure your dog has plenty of fresh drinking water at all times.
